As the name implies, Journey’ was the starting point for a new artistic journey for me.  It was inspired by my front door. An original Victorian door I really enjoyed removing the many layers of paint, revealing the work of previous `artists’ who had lived in my house – the gallery.

In its lifetime residents at 3 York Place have included a pilot, a cauker, a seamstress and various lodgers. The house was just 3 rooms originally, and at one time there were a total of 12 people living here.
