`Roseberry Topping – Journey 5′

Life is a journey, and painting is part of that journey.  I never stop learning, never stop experimenting.  This painting was another exercise of being absorbed in the moment, enjoying the journey the paint was taking me on. I experimented with textures and blends of colours on the hills. Layers of gloss created an alchemy, changing textures as I watched almost as a bystander.  I liked the result, especially finished off with a touch of realism; the iconic view of Roseberry Topping.
