Lisa Empson, artist in residence at York Place Gallery, recently attended a brilliant silver jewellery workshop presented by Michelle Johnson.
“I opted for a whole day workshop, though Michelle does taster sessions and half day workshops too. What a great time I had. Michelle is so patient and the atmosphere was so relaxing. I thoroughly enjoyed learning how to emboss jewellery and solder pieces together, eventually producing a pair of beautiful silver earrings – hand crafted by myself!!”
I can’t wait for my next silver jewellery workshop with Michelle. Who knows, I might eventually be able to include them among the work I showcase for sale at York Place Gallery!
